Make your own felted sheep! This kit gives you everything you need to needle felt your own Polypay sheep. Polypay are one of the sheep breed's we raise on our farm. They are the standard-looking white sheep. This kit was designed by local needle felting artist Marlo Currie who created the step-by-step directions, completed the sample sheep you see in the pictures and advised on the kit's contents. All of the wool comes from our farm and has been processed in our wool mill.
Level: Suitable for beginners.
Age: For ages 10+, although some children may need adult supervision as the needles are very sharp.
Designer: Marlo Currie who is a needle felting artist in Thunder Bay, Ontario and owner of Winterwood Felted Art designed this sheep and created the step-by-step tutorial.
Kit Contents: Core wool, wool roving (white), wool roving (pink), 2 felting needles, 2 glass eyes, black thread, sewing needle, foam felting pad and access to online ebook tutorial. Please note that this is a kit for you to make the sheep yourself. The completed sheep in the pictures is not included in the kit.

Source: All wool products are from us here at Borderlands Farm. The thread, sewing needle, felting needles, glass eyes and foam have been sourced separately.
Processing: All of our wool batts and roving begin as raw fleece, which is washed, dyed and carded right here in Thunder Bay in our on-site wool mill. In addition to raising the sheep ourselves, we are creating each wool product in this kit from start to finish out of our own fibre. We do not use chemical scouring. Our fibres are not bleached and we only use natural soaps.

PICK-UP / DELIVERY
Customers can choose to pick-up at the farm or the Thunder Bay Country Market, or can choose delivery to the Thunder Bay area (if eligible). Once you have placed your order, you will receive a follow-up email when your order is ready to arrange a mutually convenient pick-up or delivery time.
SHIPPING
We offer a flat rate for standard shipping within Canada.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
If you are not satisfied, we accept returns within 30 days and will issue a refund as long as the product is still in "As New" condition once we receive it. Shipping charges will not be refunded and return shipping will be paid for by the customer.
DISCLAIMER
We do our best to represent colours accurately, however not all screens are calibrated the same and colour may appear differently in person.
Small scale on-farm processing like ours means that there will be a small amount of vegetable matter (hay or straw bits). The weight of wool varies based on the humidity in the air, so all weights are approximations.
