Interested in Visiting the Farm?
If it can move, it can carry diseases, pests and weeds. For this reason, people, vehicles and equipment pose a high biosecurity risk to our farm environment and our animals, and need to be managed accordingly. We feel it is crucial that we do our utmost to prevent disease. As a consumer, you have a right to food that is safe.
If you would like to visit our farm, here is what to expect:

Appointments must be made in advance (please fill out the contact sheet above).

We will ask you if, when and what types of farms have been visited prior to our farm. As a precaution, 48 hours may be required between visits (1 week for foreign visitors).

We will ask that you wear freshly laundered clothing and boots that you are able to step into a foot bath with.

You will see signs on our property that indicate to visitors the importance of following biosecurity procedures.

Visitors will not have direct access to animal pens and feed alleys, and will not have direct contact with animals.

There will be a footbath and a container of an appropriate disinfectant solution with a scrub brush at the entrance to each facility. Please note that footbaths alone are not an effective means of disinfecting footwear so please ensure you wear clean boots.
